Fire Safety
The Schoharie Fire Department has always tried to be proactive in meeting the safety needs of our residents and firefighters. Our goal is to continue providing quality fire safety education and expand our educational efforts. We will continue to work together within our community and with other fire departments in bringing fire prevention and fire safety to Schoharie County.
In 2011 we received a grant from FEMA and the US Department of Homeland Security to help purchase a mobile fire safety trailer. If you or your organization are interested in using this trailer at one of your events, please contact us and your local fire department.
